Adults Some may say, "That it is difficult to teach an old dog new tricks" - but not at Grimsby Tennis Centre! Almost without exception, all top players have a coach - and why should this be any different for the average tennis player? Even if it just to consolidate what you do on court, a coach can help. For those new to the game there are group sessions available. Coach TBA specialises in teaching new adults and encouraging those that have returned to the game. |

Juniors Our job is not to help kids become touring professionals or even to play just like the professionals we see on TV. Mini Tennis is the best way to learn tennis and courses are now available for children up to the age of 10 years of age. Mini tennis is played indoors at the Grimsby Tennis Centre. See the Mini Tennis Pages for more information. Junior members are welcome to join in social tennis with adults. If juniors wish to play with other juniors then they must give way to adults if there is a shortage of courts. There is organised junior match play on Wednesday evenings 5:30pm to 7:00pm. On Tuesday and Thursday afternoons during school holiday periods, tournaments are held with free entry to Centre members. Grimsby Tennis Centre supports the Humber Youth Games team and members of the centre have played their part in the success of the team. Adam Wrightham, a coach at the Centre, organises the team that represents North East Lincolnshire.
